Hon. Salifu Sa-eed addressed the congregation and made a presentation on the theme; “TOWARDS UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE IN GHANA: ENSURING HEALTHY LIVES AND PROMOTING WELL-BEING FOR ALL: OUR SHARED RESPONSIBILITY”.
Among other things, he stressed on government efforts to tackle health issues in a holistic manner to be able to implement policies that will enable the country to achieve universal health and the SDGs at large.
“This informed the president decision to distribute the 307 ambulances with sophisticated gadgets and also recruited all unemployed nurses as part of the decision to strengthen health delivery in the country” he said.
The Minister however, launched Dawadawa and Perekese sausages produced by the school and urged them to submit a proposal to the business development authority for him to facilitate it and secure them funding of approximately Ghc10,000 to Ghc100,000 for their business.
