ACTIVITIES WITHIN TIME FRAME 2023
a. BRIEF DETTAILS OF THE ACTIVITIES FOR 2023
1.Plant Propagation: The department of Parks and Gardens Northern Regional Office as part of its mandate engages in the propagation of assorted plant species to be used for Tree Planting exercises and also for sale to general public.
2.Landscape Beautification and Maintenance: The Department engages in Landscape Beautification and Maintenance of public places and individual homes.
3.Tree Planting: The Northern Regional Office of the department of Parks and Gardens distributed seedlings free of charge to encourage and promote tree planting.
4.Horticultural education: The department support educational Institutions in the region in Horticultural practical and plant identification.
b. AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTIVITIES
The aim and objective of the activities of the Department is to ensure a safe and beautiful environment in our Cities and Towns in the region.
