The Acting Chief Director of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC), Mr. Sumaila Ewuntomah Abudu, on Monday, 7 September 2026, signed a book of condolences in honour of the late Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo, who passed away on Friday, 21 August 2026.
The solemn gesture formed part of efforts by the leadership and staff of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council to pay their respects to the late CLOGSAG Executive Secretary and acknowledge his significant contribution to Ghanaβs public and civil service.
Mr. Sumaila Ewuntomah Abudu, in his message in the book of condolences, expressed deep sadness over the passing of Dr. Bampoe Addo, describing his death as a great loss to CLOGSAG, the public service and the nation as a whole.
He acknowledged the late Executive Secretaryβs commitment to the welfare and professional development of public and local government workers, noting that his leadership contributed significantly to advancing the interests of workers within Ghanaβs public sector.
According to him, Dr. Bampoe Addoβs dedication to duty, leadership and service to the country would remain a lasting part of his legacy, particularly among members of CLOGSAG and public sector workers who benefited from his leadership.
The Acting Chief Director extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the leadership and membership of CLOGSAG, colleagues of the late Executive Secretary, and all others who were touched by his life and service.
He prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and the CLOGSAG fraternity as they mourned the loss of a distinguished public servant and leader.
Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo served as Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, where he played a prominent role in advocating for the welfare, conditions of service and professional interests of civil and local government employees.
His passing has been met with grief within the public service community, with tributes highlighting his commitment to public administration, worker welfare and institutional development.
