The Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Shani Alhassan Shaibu at a one-on-one interview with Metro TV, called on the people of the Northern Region to uphold and sustain the peace that the Region has witnessed over the years.
The Host of the program, Alhassan D. Baba demanded update on what the Minister and his security council has done and still doing to improve the security situation in the region.
Hon. Shaibu in his response, attributed the relative peace in the region to REGSEC, Chiefs and people of the region and commended them for their support in ensuring peace in the region.
“I am very happy the region has not experience any major security over the years”, he stated.
He appealed to the people of the region to be law abiding citizens
